Taking Measurements
Chest Measurement
Measure around the largest part of the chest & take a loose measurement
If the belly is larger than the chest measurement please telephone for
advice.
Crown To Cuff Measurement
Measure from the shoulder (seam) to just below the wrist bone whilst
the arm is relaxed at the side.
Tables are provided below to help you convert the crown to cuff measurement
into a suit fitting. (Extra Short, Short, Regular, Long, Extra long)

Waist Measurement
Measure firmly approximately 1’’ above the hipbone.
For a kilt Measure 1 inch above your tummy button. This is where the
kilt sits, (not on your normal trouser waist but about 2 inches above).
Inside leg Measurement
Measure right from the top of the inner seam (where the two seams meet)
down to the top of the heel. (Where the heel meets the sole of the shoe
(No trainers)
Outside leg
Measure from 1’’ above the hipbone down to the top of the
heel (where the heel meets the sole of the shoe. (No trainers)
Collar Measurement
Measure around the neck, just below the Adams apple. Give yourself at
least a fingers space.
Top Hat measurement
Taken just above the ears, around the largest part of the head (approximately
2 fingers above the eyebrow) Please take this measurement in centimetres
only.
Kilt length
Measure 1 inch above your belly button, now move the top of the tape
horizontally straight down to your knee. Take the measurement from there
to the middle of your knee.
