Celebrating 50 Years of Service: Three Generations Serving Bristol Since 1976
Since 1976, Haig-Harrison’s has proudly offered exceptional menswear and tailoring services across three generations in Bristol. Our story began with Angela, who first opened the doors on Princess Victoria Street in Clifton. Angela established a quick reputation for quality suit and kilt hire for weddings, black tie functions, and formal events, laying the foundation for our enduring family tradition.
A Half-Century of Evolution: From Clifton to Cool Cotham Hill
Following the strong start in Clifton, Angela relocated the business to our current premises on Cotham Hill. Jayne, a seasoned retail expert with over 35 years of experience, evolved the business and returned to the Cotham Hill shop upon her mother’s retirement in 2013.
This transition allowed us to become a comprehensive Bristol Tailor, introducing Made-to-Measure Suits, Ready-to-Wear Suits, and Same-Day Walk-In Express Suit Hire. We significantly expanded our Highland Wear offerings, adding made-to-measure kilts and tartan trews. Recognising our expertise in bespoke tailoring and Highland wear, we officially rebranded as Haig-Harrison’s in 2019.

The family commitment continues with the third generation. Owner Jayne is now joined by her daughter, Caitlin, who manages the shop, ensuring our legacy of quality Bristol tailoring endures. We are also proud to have dedicated members Viktoriia, Sidney and Isaac on the Haig-Harrison’s team, all dedicated to providing you with the best experience and the perfect fit.
